Company Director Hywel May has worked in the social care industry for 18 years. During this time Hywel has experienced a variety of care environments at all levels. Working his way from Support Worker up to Head Consultant for new projects both in England and Wales. Having worked in the industry from a young age, he has learned the importance of observing progression, not only as a Registered Manager, but also from the team of staff that will see the day to day operations. This gives an open view, whenever implementing or suggesting changes, understanding the impact this can have at all levels of operations.

Hywel has experience and Qualifications in:

• QCF Management Level 5 in Children's and Young People Services

• Registered Manager in both Wales and England

• Sound understanding of RISCA and Ofsted Standards

• Designated Safeguarding Officer Level 4 (NSPCC)

• Team Teach certified Instructor to Advanced Level.

• First Aid and Basic Life Support

• TRM and PACE Therapy Models.

Hywel has worked in Learning Disability settings, was part of the management team in developing an ASD specialist college and has also experience with service users with EMI, both in care settings and their own homes.

Hywel has successfully fronted projects in supporting company Directors with registration with CIW, expanding current services and improving grading with both CIW and Ofsted in supporting and helping implement change.

​

Hywel has a current Enhanced DBS that is on the update service and will be produced on each occasion.
